The new limited edition model is named "Onyx" and it is available with either a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-four petrol delivering 154hp (156PS) or a 2.0-liter HDI turbo diesel that generates 161hp (163PS) and a whole lot more torque than the gasoline unit does.
There are four available body colors named Blanc Opale, Gris Sidobre, Gris Haria and Noir Perla Nera, all of which come with a carbon fiber finish roof, gloss front grille and door mirror caps plus 19-inch wheels in a Midnight Silver hue.
Inside, Peugeot has added two-tone fabric upholstery with silver stitching for the sport seats, the dashboard and the center console.
The Onyx isn't only about aesthetics as it also adds several extra features including the 'Comfort' and 'Sport' packges, and a navigation system.
In France, the RCZ Onyx with the diesel engine is priced at €34,500 (US$42,200), while its petrol sibling at €32,000 (US$39,200).
