Ferrari Celeritas Barchetta Concept

The Ferrari Celeritas that is the work of Aldo Schurmann, a student from the Istituto d’Arte Applicata e Design in Turin, Italy.
Schurmann's two-seater study for a barchetta-style Ferrari supercar is different and makes no apologies for that with its shape bringing to mind Formula One car's of the 1950's and 1960s.

The concept is pictured in several different colors but all feature a common matte black finish on the center parts of the car. It also gets a distinct pair of adjustable wings at the back.

Ferrari EGO Concept

Ferrari EGO (Emotional Genereation One), designed by Istituto d'Arte Applicata e Design [IAAD] Torino graduates Salvatore Simonetti, Massimiliano Petrachi and Vincenzo Morlino and Politecnico di Milano graduate Luca Zunino, the EGO seeks to mix extreme performance with so-called “strong emotional content”.

There are all the usual features one would expect for this kind of concept: a fighter plane inspired “cockpit”, exposed carbon fibre, an aluminium tubular chassis, a wraparound windscreen and LED taillights.

There are also active aerodynamic elements such as the rear spoiler, front “wings” and air intakes. Exhaust gas is even used to increase downforce.
The boys from IAAD claim their inspiration came from the Ferrari P3 and P4/5. Like many of the design studies we’ve featured on the site, it’s an attractive from some angles but fussy from others.
