Citroen DS5 Crossover

The car features elements found on the other DS models, including the LED headlamps and the extensive use of chrome. Inside, the DS5 sports a stylish ambiance thanks to the combination of leather, wood and aluminum trim. The flat-bottomed steering wheel, the driver-oriented central console and the special Bracelet seats also contribute to an elegant environment.

The DS5 will be the first Citroen to use PSA Group's Hybrid4 drivetrain, which pairs a diesel engine with an electric motor offering a total of 200 horsepower and the advantage of four-wheel drive. The full-hybrid diesel technology will allow for electric-only urban driving and the possibility of temporary boosts of power when needed. The car's CO2 emissions are rated at only 99 g/km.

The Citroen DS5 will be produced in France and is set to arrive in European showrooms at the end of 2011. It will be sold in other markets as well, with first deliveries in China scheduled for 2012. The car will receive its first public outing in Shanghai in show trim featuring special 20-inch wheels, pearlescent gray body color and other enhancements.

Citroen C4

Premda je do pariškog auto salona ostalo još više od tri mjeseca, nestrpljivi Citroen nije mogao izdržati te nam je pokazao fotografije nove generacije modela C4.

Francuski konkurent u takozvanoj klasi Golf, sudeći prema fotografijama u fotogaleriji koju donosimo u nastavku, ugledao se na konceptni model koji nam je Citroen predstavio u Ženevi – model DS Highrider. Ništa čudno, s obzirom na to da će Citroen iskoristiti njegovu platformu i za razvoj luksuznijeg te izgledom nešto avangardnijeg modela DS4, baš kao što je učinio s modelima C3 i DS3.
Novi C4 poprilično je porastao u dimenzijama. U odnosu na prethodnika, automobil je duži za 55 mm (4.330 mm), širi za 17 mm (1.790 mm) te viši za 32 mm (1.490 mm). Francuzi se hvale i povećanjem prtljažnog prostora za čak 80 litara, na ukupno 400 litara.

Osim temeljitog redizajna eksterijera, najveće izmjene doživio je interijer kojem su kontrolni uređaji sa središnje pozicije na konzoli napokon smješteni ispred vozača, a sam upravljač više nema fiksni središnji dio, već je konvencionalne građe.
Citroen u medijskom izvješću ne spominje motore koji će se naći pod poklopcem C4, no za očekivati je da će, osim standardne postave turbopunjenih dizelaša i benzinaca, po prvi put imati i hibridno rješenje dizelskog i električnog motora iz grupacije PSA. Automobil bi se trebao naći u prodaji već ove jeseni.
