2013 Volkswagen Gol Hatchback and Gol Voyage Sedan

The Gol, which is the Portuguese and Spanish word for 'goal', is the best-selling car in South America since the mid-1980s, with more than 5 million units produced and sold in Brazil alone.

The mid-life facelift for both body styles brings Volkswagen's corporate face as seen on the latest Polo, Jetta and Passat models with a new grille, bumper and headlamp designs. At the back, there are new tail lamps and a restyled tail gate for the hatchback.

Changes inside are limited to the lighting and trim décor on the dashboard such as the chrome rings on the vents, the controls with improved feel and ergonomics plus upgrades to the car's equipment features.

Under the hood, the main news is the introduction of a new bi-fuel 1.0-liter engine rated at 72hp when using gasoline and 76hp with ethanol.

According to the manufacturer, when fueled with ethanol, the Gol 1.0 accelerates from zero to 100km/h (62mph) in 12.9 seconds and tops out at 165 km/h (103mph).

Audi 335HP RS3 Sportback

German automaker decided to respond to consistent demand with an additional, strictly limited production run of 250 cars.

The second batch of UK-market RS3 Sportbacks will be available at the same £39,930 OTR price as the original 500 car quota for Britain.

The hottest model of the A3 series makes do with a punchy 2.5-litre turbocharged inline-five petrol engine delivering 335hp (340PS) and 450Nm (332 lb-ft) to all four wheels through a standard seven-speed S tronic twin-clutch transmission.

The RS3 Sportback passes the 62mph (100km/h) yardstick after 4.6 seconds and has an electronically governed top speed of 155mph (250km/h). While certainly not a selling point for interested buyers, for the record, the hot hatch returns up to 31mpg UK in the combined cycle test.

Standard features for the UK model include leather-upholstered sports seats with silver contrasting stitching, Piano black or Aluminium Race look inlays, a flat-bottomed RS steering wheel, acoustic rear parking sensors, electronic climate control, DVD-based satellite navigation with MMI and xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights.

On the options list you will find front bucket seats, roof rails in matt aluminium look and styling packages in black or matt aluminium.

2013 Renault Clio Sports Tourer

From what we have seen up until now, the Clio Estate appears to be as stylish as its five-door sibling offering the added bonus of a larger and possibly more practical cargo area.
Look for the new Sports Tourer model either at the Paris Motor Show in September this year or at the Geneva Salon in 2013.

Peugeot RCZ Onyx

The new limited edition model is named "Onyx" and it is available with either a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-four petrol delivering 154hp (156PS) or a 2.0-liter HDI turbo diesel that generates 161hp (163PS) and a whole lot more torque than the gasoline unit does.

There are four available body colors named Blanc Opale, Gris Sidobre, Gris Haria and Noir Perla Nera, all of which come with a carbon fiber finish roof, gloss front grille and door mirror caps plus 19-inch wheels in a Midnight Silver hue.

Inside, Peugeot has added two-tone fabric upholstery with silver stitching for the sport seats, the dashboard and the center console.

The Onyx isn't only about aesthetics as it also adds several extra features including the 'Comfort' and 'Sport' packges, and a navigation system.

In France, the RCZ Onyx with the diesel engine is priced at €34,500 (US$42,200), while its petrol sibling at €32,000 (US$39,200).

Peugeot 301 Compact Sedan

Starting from November 1, the new Peugeot model will be available in Turkey and then in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Ukraine, Greece, the Maghred, the Middle East, the Gulf States and African countries, certain Latin American markets and China.

Depending on the market, the 301 will compete against cars in the likes of the new Skoda Rapid and Seat Toledo twins, as well as its own French sibling, the Citroen C-Elysee

Available engine options will include a 70hp (71PS) 1.2-liter VTi petrol, a 91hp (92PS) 1.6-liter HDi turbo diesel and a 114hp (115PS) 1.6-liter petrol.

Range Rover Evoque By Hamann-Motorsport

The German tuning firm has prepared an assortment of upgrades starting with the SUV's exterior appearance.

A new wide bodykit adds 70mm to the Evoque's front axle and 80mm to the rear making space for the 22-inch alloy wheels that are available in a selection of colors and designs, while there are also front and rear aprons, rocker panels and a larger roof spoiler.

The cabin can be clothed in custom leather with decorative stitching, while other options include personalized trims and floor mats.

In the performance department, Hamann offers a power kit for all three available engines. In the case of the 150hp and 190hp 2.2-liter inline-four turbo diesels, the tuner's kit lifts output by 31HP and 65Nm (47.9 lb-ft), while the 240hp 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine receives a 38HP and 55Nm (40.5 lb-ft) boost.

A new 30mm lowered sports suspension helps (or at least promises to do so) improve the Evoque's stance and handling.
