Chevrolet Camaro Z/28

This is one of the first independent reviews of the 2014 Camaro Z/28 and since this car is a high-performance monster, the team from Ignition thought the best place to drive it was the racetrack.

With 505 horsepower from a high-revving 7.0-liter V8, a 6-speed manual transmission, special suspension setup, and the widest front tires of any production car, the Camaro Z/28 proved to be in its element on the track.

Its track tires may need to be warmed up, but once they are brought to temperature they are really sticky, providing impressive grip, according to the reviewer.

The Chevrolet really impressed racing driver Randy Pobst, who describes the Z/28 as a very satisfying car to drive fast. He was also surprised by the powerful brakes that offer a very quick response.
